My husband and I met many years ago while he was riding his motorcycle. He has told me stories about how he got his first bike before he had his first car. He prefers riding a bike places rather than taking a car. Who am I to complain with the price of gas being what it is. He can take his bike four times as far on one tank of gas than what I can in my car. He is a member of many different motorcycle clubs both online and in the brick and mortar world. He has made many good friends in these clubs and they have gone out on many rides together. They have all different kinds of charity rides that they participate in. He has even put together a ride to raise money for a little boy in our neighborhood who was diagnosed with cancer. They were able to raise more than half the amount needed for the little boys treatment.
