Whether you are blogging on something you know a lot about or are researching a topic for a business presentation that you will keep in your documents folder or are just sending off an email to a colleague on something you have both been working on, it is important that you seem educated and knowledgeable. If your grammar or spelling is poor, for instance, you may not get the chance to be taken seriously even if you know a lot about the topic you are writing about. So it is imperative that you go to grammarcheck.net and set things up so that you can be alerted to any mistakes in grammar that might be in the piece you are composing. Sadly, many of us have forgotten the rules of good writing that we learned in elementry school, high school, and college, so you can allow this web site to do the checking for you so that your ideas have a chance of being heard and valued.

Tips to Writing a Best-Selling Ebook
06.12
You might have heard the story: someone new goes to the e-book writing business and he or she makes it big. As a matter of fact, he might make it so big that he starts making a few hundred thousand dollars per month by just writing ebooks! How did he do it? There are a few steps to take:
1. Start small. The ebooks that sell more are often the cheap ebooks, not the expensive ones.
2. Look for many places to distribute your ebook. The thing is that most people try to distribute their ebooks through a single source – that’s a huge mistake! What you should do is to start by distributing the ebook from many different locations. You can even distribute it offline or give it away!
3. Improve your writing. Many people fool themselves by releasing poorly-written ebooks. Don’t be one of them. Publish the best of the best always.
Writing Great Dialogue
05.12
You can find dialogue examples at CreativeWritingSite.com. The advice that you find there will help you develop sequences that are that will make conversations sound believable. There are certain rules you have to use when writing dialogue so that you do not confuse the readers. Let’s take a look at a few:
- use quotes before and after the dialogue. There are some books that do not use quotations at all. Million Little Pieces is an example of a book that is written “straight.” If not done right, readers can get lost because they will not know who is speaking and who is not.
- when you use quotes, the comma goes within the quotes: “No way Jose,” said the mother.
- if you want to interrupt the dialogue with who is talking, and then continue, you have to use two commas: “I spent all day nursing him,” she said, “and he did not care.”
Inspired by My Family

My two aunts are fabulous cooks. When I go to my Aunt Irene’s house, she’s always got some amazing Italian food on its way out in the kitchen, and the whole house fills up with lovely aromas and scents that scintillate the nose and make the mouth water. When I go to my Aunt Gladys’ house, she’s always got some kind of delicious casserole because she’s a very eclectic cook. She likes to draw on influences from tons of different cultures, whereas Aunt Irene is more centralized in our Italian heritage. I want to learn from them though, and in order to do my research correctly, I’m thinking about joining something like the Good Cook Book Club. I don’t know what sorts of recipes they will afford me, but I’m sure they will be varied and I can start to build up the basic skills necessary to keep up with the aunts. Someday I hope to be the one cooking the big family dinners.

Why We Compile the Sorts of Lists of Interesting Books to Read That We Do
11.02
At Read Featured Books, we’re all editors and writers. We’re students, and we like to get done what we have to do, when it comes to reading and when it comes to loving the written language. The thing is, is that we have to try to figure out what should be read, and what should be covered. Basically, we need to try to find out what we need to get done, when this sort of thing happens. That’s why we spend so much time, trying to come up with the most interesting books to read for our own readers. It’s something that we’ve been doing for quite some time at this point. And the thing is, is that we’re basically going to continue to do this for a long, long time. We need to have these things done, and we need to be able to do this, because we feel it’s important. We all subscribe to the idea that we are what we read (more so, even, perhaps, than what we eat). And in many cases, what we’re really talking about on our site, is just this notion. We’re bibliophiles, and we’re not romantic bibliophiles. We’re sort of, well, you could even say that we’re sort of manic bibliophiles. We’re addicted to diction, and we believe that those values come out, in our publishings, in our essays, and such. These are the reasons that we read, and that we really prune the sorts of things that we “digest.” This is why we only read good books. We stay away from the poor reads, because of this, again, this notion that we are all a direct result of what we read, basically. This is an important value that we espouse, and it’s something that we definitely need to uphold, through our work here, which you’ll come to understand yourself.
