I purchased this Sigma 8-16 lens for my European trip. I use it on my Canon 7D DSLR camera. I was very pleased with the results that I obtained from my trip. My lens copy is extremely sharp across the frame at all apertures and focal length. It is great fun to use this lens due to its amazing wide angle of view. This lens also handles very well for my old hands. The autofocus on this lens is very quick and accurate. The color and contrast are very nice and it handles flare quite well in my opinion. Obviously, distortion is an issue with such wide angles but this lens can handle it very well at 12mm focal length. If you have post processing software, you can handle the distortion using the distortion filter correction in it. With those combinations, you will be able to get some fantastic image that will make anyone jealous.
