The rampant increase of call center slots has been a very big help on the economy of each country. It welcomes different applicant from difference races, educational background, and most of all, from different age bracket.
Although one has to sit down for more or less 8 hours of taking calls, most companies make sure to provide an adaptable working environment, like being laid-back on their dress code. Aside from this, they offer inviting compensation and benefits to their employees.
But one of its downside is the effects to the health of most employees. As a call center agent, they have to learn to adjust their body clock once their schedule is changed. Once they sit on their station, wear their headset, and push the answer button, taking calls will go on until the end of their shift. With the sitting position they have to maintain for several hours, it commonly leads to back pain. The good thing about it though is that they wouldn’t have a hard time looking for a back pain specialist since they are mostly offered a health care which offers the best hospitals and doctors in town.
